Lessons & Term Programs

We offer lessons through the school term as well as holiday lessons on request. Our lessons are tailored to the riders and follow an internationally recognised riding pathway to help you see your improvements.

Group lesson

Group lesson typically run for 1 hour with a maximum of 4 riders. Riders require an assessment lesson prior to joining a group to ensure riders are all of a similar standard.

Private and Semi Private lessons

Private and Semi Private lessons are a great choice for riders who would like to focus on specific skills, advanced their skills to join a group or get ready for competitions. Our private and semi private lessons run for 30minutes, 45minutes and 60minutes.

Sydney Riding School - Skills for Life

Our Sydney Riding School – Skils for life programs aims to introduce riders to riding, horse management and horsemanship skills riders will need throughout their life. With 1 hour riding and 1 hour horsemanship, riders are able to complete their Nationally recognised Ride a horse (Equiskills) or Ready Set Trot programs.
Here we are also introduce common life skills lessons that horses can teach us such as communication skills, trust, respect and kindness.

Riders will be invited to inhouse competitions and activities to gain experience outside of the riding school environment to help their transitioning from riding in the riding school to more open environments.
When Riders have completed their Ready Set Trot Blue level Program or Ride a Horse- Canter Level, riders are invited to move into the Sydney Riders Academy – Competition Program.

Sydney Rider’s Academy - Competition Program

The Sydney Rider’s Academy Competition Program is ideal for those riders looking to be more involved in horses from competing, attending pony club and leasing or buying horses. Riders in the Sydney Rider’s Academy will have access to one of our school horses or use their own horse to enhance their riding skills outside of the riding school environment. Our coaches will assist with competition preparation, Horsemanship skills, transport to shows and show help.

Riders will continue working through their Ride A Horse Gallop Level and move onto their Introductory Riding and Horse management books when ready. When Riders have completed this level

BMG Showjumping - Performance Program

The BMG Showjumping Performance Programs are ideal for those riders who would like to further their riding in the show jumping ring and be competitive at local through to international competitions.

BMG Showjumping Programs are fun by Sarah Beale who has trained with some of the best coaches in Europe and Australia competing up to 1m60.
